Mule Live by Deep Purple The Mule by Deep Purple, on album Made In Japan. Submitted by Kelsey Terhorst. Tuning- EADGBE Symbols: / = slide up = slide down h = hammer on p = pull off ~ = let ring I'm not sure this is entirely correct because I'm hearing it on Made In Japan, the live but I'll do my best. YOU HAVE TO READ THE TEXT AS YOU GO ALONG! After the second time there's a chord progression when the lyrics start. Riff 2: E|---| B|---| G|-2-| D|-2-| A|-0-| E|---| And there's a drum solo after that, and there's a part during the drum solo that goes this and it's really fast: Riff 3: E|-------------------------------| B|-------------------------------| G|-------------2-------0---------| D|-------2-4-2---2-4-2---2---2---| A|-0-0-4-------------------4---0-| E|-------------------------------| And then it does it one string higher. After that you go to the main riff. And last, you do the fifth riff, which is GGGGG A~ and you do that a couple times.
