Oceans Where Feet May Fail (ver 6) by Hillsong United ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OCEANS Where Feet May Fail - Hillsong United ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tabbed by: prezkamm E-mail: [email protected] This tab is basically like the piano version, but is still very pretty. It can play on its own, goes well with vocals, or compliments another guitar playing chords nicely. Just have fun with it! Works well with the chords from the most popular version on here. I recommend keeping the second finger on the sixth string, and third finger on first string, sliding between the chords. But any fingers work, and if you don't like the sound of sliding on your strings, you don't have to. That's just how my teacher had me do it when they taught me. Capo: 3 Tuning: Standard Intro and Verses: Bm A/C# D e|-------4---------4---------4----------6---------7---------7---------7---------7--| B|-----0---------0---------0----------0---------0---------0---------0---------0----| G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------------| D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------------| A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------------| E|--4-------4-4-------4-4--------4-6-------6-7-------7-7-------7-7-------7-7-------| A G(Em) e|---------2---------2---------2---------2---------0---------0---------0---------0--| B|-------0---------0---------0---------0---------0---------0---------0---------0----| G|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| D|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| A|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| E|--7-2-------2-2-------2-2-------2-2-------2-0-------0-0-------0-0-------0-0-------| Go through once for the intro, then twice for the verse. Chorus: G D A (repeat two more times) e|---------0---------0---------7---------7---------2---------2---------2---------2--| B|-------0---------0---------0---------0---------0---------0---------0---------0----| G|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| D|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| A|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| E|--0-0-------0-0-------7-7-------7-7-------2-2-------2-2-------2-2-------2-2-------| G A e|---------0---------0---------2---------2-----------------------------------| B|-------0---------0---------2---------2-------------------------------------| G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| E|--0-0-------0-0-------2-2-------2-2----------------------------------------| Repeat intro once, then twice more for the verse. Repeat chorus, then intro once. Instrumental/Bridge: Bm G e|---------4---------4---------4---------4---------0---------0---------0---------0--| B|-------0---------0---------0---------0---------0---------0---------0---------0----| G|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| D|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| A|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| E|--4-4-------4-4-------4-4-------4-4-------0-0-------0-0-------0-0-------0-0-------| D A e|---------7---------7---------7---------7---------2---------2---------2---------2--| B|-------0---------0---------0---------0---------0---------0---------0---------0----| G|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| D|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| A|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| E|--7-7-------7-7-------7-7-------7-7-------2-2-------2-2-------2-2-------2-2-------| Repeat once more for instrumental, then twice per bridge. If you want to play the full, nearly 10-minute song, the bridge is run through three times like this, then run through once with G-D-A-Em twice for a full bridge, then Bm-A/C#-D-A-Em six times for two more bridges and an instrumental. If you don't want to play that long, you can play around with different ending, but I like to go through the above bridge twice and do the instru- mental/verse once. Either way, I suggest ending by plucking the sixth string, 4th fret (relative to the capo).
